Other People, moving Image is made from two photographs of strangers on a beach. In one image, a single person sits in the sand; in the other, two sit several metres apart. As the images slowly dissolve into one another, a third figure seems to appear in the overlap.
The people do not know each other, nor are they aware of the artist sitting behind them, photographing. They do not know they have become an artwork. The piece plays with perception and coincidence, producing an image of solitude, connection, and the quiet presence of others.
