Intoxication 2007

For this exhibition, I photographed glasses and bottles of red wine through a kaleidoscope, an experiment undertaken while under the wine’s influence. The images fracture colour, shape, and light into dizzying, otherworldly visions. They are not mere depictions of the drink itself, but of the spell it casts, the stories it inspires, and the dual nature of its beauty and danger.
