Kling & Bang Gallery at Frieze Art Fair London UK 2008
In a performance at Frieze Art Fair London, broke a black stone I brought with me from Iceland with a sledgehammer and chisel. I weighed the fragments and then wrapped them in kitchen plastic.
The work refers to the selling of the country and to the extraction, classification, and redistribution of what is considered Icelandic.
